I’ve never seen Indian Dancing before, it was MAGNIFICENT. I was impressed at them moving their heads side to side and i wish i could go again. The whole experience was great.

I have never seen this kind of dancing before. I didn’t think it was going to be this brilliant. I enjoyed watching the show. I really liked how their hair was done. And their costumes were superb.

“My youngest sister called me straight after to tell me the whole story of the dance and seemed to have a sudden understanding of Theology! The following day she totally dominated the 'show and tell' at her Church Sunday School , by retelling the story about how everyone should treat each other well and about coming from darkness and going to the light.

“ The students are in quite a difficult year and it is hard to engage them with anything outside their very narrow youth culture, so I was delighted that they had this introduction into Hindu Dharma in such a beautiful, accessible and topical form...impressed by the balance between Sanskrit and English dialogue, between the essential Hindu dharma and a contemporary message. Going straight to the heart of Hindu Dharma but linking it to a universal message. So uplifting. It worked well.

”By bringing you, my intention is to introduce the traditional dance to the new generation so they know their own worth. I want to erase their wrong notion.”

The mail - ' Deepa Excels '
Trained in the austere and classical style , Deepa dances with confidance and rhythmic precision of her footwork is admirable and the ease with which she dances reveal her effort in mastering it.

The Hindu - Natya marked by swift tempo
Deepa's proficiency rose to the occasion in the principal number of the programme and met the choreography of the Varnam " Sami nan undan adimai" of papanasam sivan in Nattakuranji , with a matching vigour in performance. Her footwork had been blemishless and bright . The young artiste proved her worth in this vital aspect of Natya.

Dinamani ( Tamil )
Deepa's timing and steps were impeceable , and the varnam " sadinchane " was so much superior to what could be expected of one so young. In the dance , set to " Krishna Nee Brgane " , Deepa was not just acting "Baby krishna" but became " Krishna " himself - in all the ' Leelas ' she depicted.

Indian Express in Bombay - ' promising artiste '
For one soyoung, she is barely nine years old, Baby Deepa Bharathanatyam recital was a packet of pleasant surprises. There is no gain saying the fact that she is too young to depict sanchari Bhavas with that inherent feelings and understanding that spells all different to the delineation in such bhavas This apart, however her base in Nritta is laid in firm foundations.
