Feedback from Aarambh’s audience in March – April 2006.
Feedback from audience was
Accessible, Enjoyable, Superb, Interesting, Excellent, Exciting…….
The Mayor of
Trafford : “Aarambh
effectively communicated at three levels –music,
the storyline, and visually through the dance presentation.
It was a complete theatre by itself presented
with zeal and joy from children to professionals.”
Dyanne : “My youngest sister called me straight after to tell me the whole story of the dance and seemed to have a sudden understanding of Theology! The following day she totally dominated the 'show and tell' at her Church Sunday School , by retelling the story about how everyone should treat each other well and about coming from darkness and going to the light.
Quite magical that the dance made such an impact on an 8 year old!”
Kevin Eden : “EXCELLENT!
Better than any expectation!” Lesley Taylor : “ Lovely
performance. Thought provoking but at the same time
relaxing.”
Dharmila : “I just wanted to let you know whilst I knew that I would love the show, my colleagues enjoyed it tremendously and what's more they understood and appreciated everything from the moves, miming and story telling through to the costume. They noticed the different styles and elegance of each persona and they even genuinely thought that Lord Shiva was played by a man - so 10/10 for your depiction there!
Dr.Mrs.Raghavan
: “ All the questions posed by my 5 year
old during interval was answered later. Aarambh posed
and answered the universal questions difficult for even
adults to comprehend. This is a must for all schools
– even in India!!”
Harihar & Karuna : “We
thoroughly enjoyed your show yesterday. Please do pass
on our special appreciation to the entire team.. We
truly liked the concept and the message that was conveyed
that was universal. Do keep us informed about your next
program since post our visit there is more interest
amongst the folks here to come for your next show.”
Aziz Zeria :
“I came to see Aarambh with my
family and a group of friends. It was a great performance.
I thought that the inclusion of the children was good,
very well choreographed and appropriate, as was
the narration in English. This really helped my
children to appreciate the story and enjoy the show.
My daughter and her friend thought that 'it was cool'.”
“Your performance was phenomenal as always but right down to costume, lighting and the idea used to convey the meaning behind the dance to the audience, everything was excellent.”
Rita Mistry : “When you first appeared on stage it was amazing, just like seeing Shiva on TV, very real although not real as no one knows truly what the Lord looks like but the image that we have been brought up to know was an exact match!!
I could not believe that was you for a long while until you began to dance and then I could tell.
I really enjoyed it thank you.” |
